Common Questions
How many prints will I get from this thing?
I received a replacement for the first 2350 after it failed to power up, which I appreciated.
Does the printer come with toner?
It comes with a starter toner cartridge, rated at 700 pages, but there's a little trick I learned that when the printer stops printing, I do this simple work-around: leave the printer turned on right where it was when it stopped printing.
I'm not sure how to reset the drum count.
Make sure the front cover is open. Press and hold Go for four seconds until all of the LEDs light up.
Can I print with the cable if I connect it to my wireless router? Also, any problem with using it with a newer Mac?
You can get the driver and software on line from Brother for Mojave, but instillation is difficult, must connect with printer powered on first, and here are installation instructions.
Does it come with the cable?
I don't think there are very many printers that come with a cable. I used to sell printers, and this was our main up sell, generally convincing people to get the bundle that comes with the wire and the 3 year warranty.
