    The whole process was trouble-free and a piece of cake after I used the Mac screen that can fix that.


    I switched the printer to use the 2.4 GHz network only, and it connected first try, because I had assigned a static address to it, but the method worked well, so I didn't mess with it.


    I was able to use the HP Start app on my PC to do most of my work, it's a very easy to use interface, it's complete, and does all I need to do.


    I'm not sure how it happened, but I found a free app on your PC that lets you print from your computer, and it just appeared - talk about easy.


    I had to install the free "HP Start" app on my PC in order to use it to print, manage, and Scan documents from my printer to my PC.
