    It was nice to have the piece of mind that everything was documented and proved that I wasn't at fault after I was spun out by another driver who fell asleep on his way to work.

    The view, video and sound quality have been good so far, as I can see license plates at high resolutions, and it is easier to remove the SD card from my computer when I need to pull a video.


    I had an unfortunate encounter with a deer that almost ruined my car, the insurance paid everything, but it was in the repair shop for four weeks, and parts had to be ordered.


    It could be that the internal battery is not enough to provide enough power to maintain current settings and memory, but it is a pain having it plugged in and recording, it would last only a few minutes.

    How much time will a 32 GB card record in this unit?

    A:

    It will take about 300MB space and 32GB card can take about 320 minutes video which is equal to 5.3 hours.

    Is it possible to set the camer up to record more than a 3 minute loop?

    A:

    After 3 minutes dash cam will start another 3 minutes clip, until memory card full, when card full, the new 3 minutes clip will wipe out the oldest video clip.

    Q:

    Is there a warranty for the Cam if it gets fried from sitting out in parking lots in the summer?

    A:

    Since the plastic housing on top of the unit that Attach to the suction cup mount broke in the Carolina summer heat, I guess my only option is to glue it to the mount.

    Is it easy to save a loop to download later when I'm driving?

    Press the "OK" button to lock/protect the video clip from the recorder, and a key shaped icon will appear on the top right side of the screen.

    Does this record the vehicle's speed? I was fined for going 55 in a 40 when I was doing 40.

    If you want to record speed, you need a gps function, but V1 dose doesn't support it recently.
