We take our camping, cook over it, sit around it, cook smores on it, bring it home, set it up out back, and cook smores on it.
It was a wonderful, portable, sturdy, easy to use, easy to light firepit and I used it on our covered deck, on a small table, and both were fine.
It is easy to use, and it is great for date night at the beach, camping, tailgating, or church outings. The bottom does not get hot, my husband proved this by keeping his foot under it for 30 minutes.
The whole setup is very easy to use and you can use it for camping, as well as watching tv and sports in the backyard.
The lid is easy to put in place and we just wrap the hose around the fire pit when not in use.
