  • What buyers say about Jackery Portable Power Station Explorer 160, 167Wh Lithium Battery Solar Generator

It is easy to get electricity from the utility, solar panels or your car, and the Explorer 160 can be used in table lamps.

I have used this device as a portable phone charger for everyone but in the hot summer months camping has been very hot, so I have put it with two Harbor Freight Solar Panels into the 7.9mm DC input jack.

I wanted to have more power but in a small package that was easy to move around, so I decided to use a small flexible solar to power the unit.

The Jackery has a digital display that tells you exactly what percentage of power you have, which is better than the other product, which only has four rectangular bars to show you what percentage of power you have.

The fan drew out less than 2 watt, so it will operate for a full 3 - 4 days of camping on one charge, and still have some juice to spare.

Is it equipped with a pure sine wave inverter?

    A:

No, it's a modified sine wave inverter.

    Q:

How long can this item run if it consumes a maximum of 8.5 watt through the ac inverter?

    A:

The working time for your device is 167wh*0.85w/15.3 hrs, so you can calculate it by dividing the operating power of your device by the working time.

    Q:

Does it come with a 12-volt cigarette lighter for input and a female version for output?

    A:

I have bought a Jackery 160 that had a female 12v cigarette lighter port, but another one that does not, so I don't expect it.

The explorer 160 is not carrried on a plane with you, it is 167Wh.
