What buyers say about Progeny 300W Portable Power Station, 299Wh/80818mAh Solar Generator
I intended to use it again, but when I turned it on the third time, the display read 20%, so I didn't try a third time.
The display is easy to read in sunlight and has useful data, but the various lights are too bright for use in the dark or if you want to sleep, and the cover or electronic lock makes it hard to turn the unit on.
The price per Watt hour was one of the better deals, and it has a feature that makes it useful for anyone who wants to use it for power devices.
I was able to use my new Dream Station 2 for four nights and a few hours into the next day on a single charge, and use 40 hours of my face mask on a single charge.
I spent about 2 days researching on solar banks on Amazon, eBay and Google, and the P66 had all the features I was looking for, including pass through charging, regulated pure sine wave and all the ports I was looking for.
What's the dimensions of a portable solar generator?
If any one bought P66 at present and want to exchange it for the MPPT version, feel free to do so, as we have upraged it to MPPT version and will be available in Jan 2021.
Does the unit work while charging or just DC?
While it is charging, all the ports will work.
What is the current of the 12vdc output?
The PROgeny 300W power station is regulated by 12v dc.
Is it possible to work as a ups?
The concept of an uninterrupted power system is similar if you plug in your device or computer to the power source.
Is it possible to run a full size freezer off of this?
I think a fridge needs something with a higher voltage to run. If it is compatible, I think you would be lucky for it to run an hour before it's drained.
