This is a grill that I have been using for the past 3 months and I have to say that it is very easy to clean and easy to cook on.
A hot grill will still give off some heat even though it isn't hot. I use that ambient heat to keep the food warm. It isn't hot but a bit warm ( sometimes I slide a tray of just-grilled food below and use that ambient heat to keep it warm
I saw a review of a grill where the handle melted, but I have since learned that there is little heat transfer to the handles or the bottom of the grill so it is safe to put on top of surfaces.
It is portable and has enough space to cook for a large group, and I found myself using it over my larger grill for home weeknight cooking, its the ideal size for a dinner for two with steaks and veggies.
This grill is better than the smokey joe grill in every way.

The legs are a little flimsy in my opinion, but they hold up the grill nicely if you lock them in place with the clip that is attached underneath.
Is it possible to buy just the grill grate?
Yes. You should find one on Weber. Com. Select charcoal then find your go anywhere grill then click accessories. It should pull up charcoal grate, cooking grate, and replacement handles.
I want to know the exact height of the grill when it's folded up for storage.
I measured mine and it seems to be 10 and 5/8 inches, you might want to allow 10 and 3/4 inches.
