What buyers say about Neewer Smartphone Holder Vertical Bracket with 1/4-inch Tripod Mount
This is a well made camera, which is to be mounted on a tripod, as it is an inexpensive Chinese brand trying to establish itself in the photography field.
It's made well and it's intended to be mounted on a tripod, so it's within that context that it's a "cheap Chinese brand" trying to establish itself in the photography field.
If you want to use your phone to make videos, take pictures, this is a must-have.
If you use the 3 second timer on the camera, it would help, but thats not always an option for fast-action situations, like wiggly kids or pets.
I had bought 2 cheap tripods which broke when I tightened the phone mount at the part where the clasps on the phone were, and both of them tried to push the phone out as I tightened the clasps on the phone, but this thing is sturdy and will correctly contour any time
