The mount is not hard to put together, although it is a bit different than a normal projector mount because it is hung from a sloped ceiling.
I had to send it back because I realized there was no way to mount it without the extension pole, but still a ton of parts everywhere I packed it up and sent it back.
The mount is very good, it allows height to be regulated between 15 and 23 inches from the ceiling, which is great if you want to align the center of the lens with the top level of the screen.
The price was great and the product was well made and sturdy. We were leery because the board we needed to attach it to was narrow but we were surprised to find that it pivoted more than described and we could mount it even more securely than anticipated.
The screw mounts are very secure and the white finish is very good. I would highly recommend this amount to anyone looking for a nice mount for their projector.
