What buyers say about Winsor & Newton Series 7 Kolinsky Sable Watercolor Brush
The brushes are so good that you could easily paint most small details with a #3 brush, and I have one of the series 7 brushes.
I care for the brushes the same as I did for the Army Painter brushes, handling them with kid gloves and using brush soap, but the AP brushes started losing their shape in a few days, even though the series 7 are still like new.
I use these for fine line work and they are great for the fine detail or line work, I have sizes 000, 0, 1, 2, and 3 and I am very happy with them.
I bought a size 0 and a size 2 for the W&N series 7 brushes because I heard a lot of good things about them.
The Winsor &Newton Series 7 is an amazing brush with a lovely snap and spring, it holds paint beautifully, and application is a dream.
Common Questions
What is the difference between the #0 and the #?
There is no difference between the #0 and the other.
How long is it from the tip of the hairs to the end of the handle?
It depends on the brush size.
The series 7 brush set is now available.
Retain a lot of color for good, continuous flow, with a fine, fine point whatever the size.
Is it short or long handle?
The short handle is shorter.
Do the brushes work with acrylics?
The WN series 7 is too expensive and not intended for acrylics, so it will be ruined quickly.
