I have been using this lens for a few months now and I have to say that it is a pretty good lens for the price and it is very easy to use.
If you want to make a website, you need 18 mps, but it's only important if you want to enlarge the picture.
If you drop your lens cap in the woods or on the street in a down town USA you're never going to see it again, and the UV filter is more expensive than the lens itself.
The camera is the perfect investment for me, because I want a better camera for travel, and it has enough bells and whistles to make a noticeable impact in my images.
