What buyers say about Pentax K1000 Manual Focus SLR Film Camera with Pentax 50mm Lens
This is a great camera to start with, it's very easy to use, and it has a great image quality.
I have just been using the 50mm lens that comes with it and it is very versatile and can be used to shoot pics at any angle that I want to, so if you are looking to get into photography, this is a great place to start.
I think the image quality is great and in my opinion a better deal to use this than a point and shoot camera as you have to take your time to get the picture right and that in my eyes makes it more worthwhile.
It is only after one knows how to use the various parameters of the lens, shutter speed and file speed that one can really take great photos.
This is the best beginner camera to start with and I have owned it for over a year and a half.
Where can I purchase film for this camera?
There are a lot of places: on line at Amazon, convenience and drug stores, big box stores like Walmart, Costco, Sam's Club, and Photo/Camera stores, etc.
Does it have a range of focus, shutter speeds, and f/stops?
If you are interested, I will sell it for $90.
I would like to get one of these before they sell out.
I haven't finished the roll yet but the film winder didn't feel right, so I'll have to take the film out.
