It's a little unnerving at first, but you just have to be gentle with it and rub the brush back and forth along your teeth.
The unit is waterproof and long lasting, but there are three things that we think are missing: the charging port should be a regular micro tousb instead of a special plug, a storage case and a listing to buy the same and/or any replacement heads.
He likes that the brush neck length allows him to get far back into his mouth, as well as the different settings the brush offers.
I have been using this electric toothbrush for the past 3 months and it has been helping me to keep my teeth clean and looking nice, even though I change my toothbrush every 3 months.
It's worth the $20 I paid for it, and it's comparable in power to my Sonicare Essence but more portable, since I got this for travel so I can leave my more bulkyPhillips brush at home but still have the power of an electric toothbrush.
