    I think music hip hop is good for listening to bass music, and anything heavy is not a big deal for me, as long as you listen to it in a Dialog mode and listen to podcasts.


    I hooked up our tv and noticed an immediate improvement, clear forward facing sound with lots of oomph from a very neat looking unit that is easy to connect up, clear simple instructions and with a simple remote.


    If you want to use the many other features of the sound bar, such as changing to a Bluetooth connected device, you need the soundbar remote, but it will keep its memory and you can just use it with your TV remote.
