  • Common Questions

    Q:

What is the difference between the SM-T380 and T350?

    A:

The TM380 has twice the RAM, a faster processor, twice the on-board storage, twice the capacity for upgraded storage, higher resolution, longer battery life and is pre-installed with the latest version of Android OS available to Samsung products.

    Q:

How is this different from the Kindle fire 8?

    A:

I bought a new Fire 8 and gave it to my wife who only uses it for streaming services, because the interface is so busy that we don't use or want anything else.

    Q:

I can't tell exactly what type of micro sd card it takes.

    A:

    not useful

    Q:

Is this the same as many other Samsung devices where the pre-installed apps and software eat up more than half of the internal memory?

    A:

The device has 20GB of usable memory, which is plenty for a device that's fresh out of the box. The OS and preloaded apps definitely take up some space, but that's true of every tablet available, not unique to Samsung.

    Q:

Will the andrid apps work without a subscription?

    A:

The core editing functions can be edited without subscription on screens under 10, but you will still need a subscription to use some "premium" functions.
