  • What buyers say about Exerpeutic TF1000 Treadmill

I bought one of these last month to use as part of a "Walking Desk", but I can't speak to the pricing or shipping experience, because I didn't get this from Amazon, but I know the things that make it great.

I know there are a few negative reviews of this treadmill, but I try to look at them in a different light, and I think it's a good thing that there are always some positive reviews on almost every product.

If the desk is too forward, you will tend to hunch over, which is not good for your joints or comfort.

It is free to ship with Amazon Prime, and there is also a second set of controls that are perfect for a treadmill desk where you don't want to be reaching through the desk area while in motion.

I was frustrated by the end of the day because the only way to get rid of the code was to shut off, wait 2 seconds and then power back up.

    Common Questions

What is the size of the base and the belt?

It's a very good standing desk, with a front frame to back of frame of Approx 32-1/4 inches wide.

Is the bar long enough for 400lb people or can it be shortened to make more room?

All depends on how heavy you are, my sister is xxx weight but she has a lot of leg muscle from riding horses so while she is obese is looks to be about 1/3rd the size of other people who weigh the same but at nothing but fat.

Would a 5'10 person feel like they're walking off the back end?

I feel like it's too short and you have to stand back far away from the control panel or else you will walk onto the plastic base that covers part of the motor on the front.

Are the arms stationery or do they fold down?

The handles have pulse devices on both sides, plus up/down, as well as mode settings built in.

Is it possible to use this in an upstairs apartment without disturbing the downstairs neighbor?

I think you will be fine, but it might cause some people problems.
