  • What buyers say about Antennas Direct ClearStream 2V TV Antenna, 60+ Mile Range, UHF/VHF, Multi-directional, Indoor, Attic, Outdoor

I put up a Winegard antenna on the roof of my old house, which worked well and had a build in pre-amplifier and FM trap.

It's easy to put sticky tape on it and slap it on the window or sliding glass door, it comes with exactly the right amount of coax cable to reach where I have my unit.

If you have multiple TVs, do not run multiple cables from your antenna and instead connect your Homerun box to your home network.

I was able to watch ABC without the channel, but I had to buy a new antenna because NBC was not going to work for us.

The main rabbit ears sticks and the Bowtie were both made of a loop design.

    Common Questions

    Q:

Is anyone able to give me feedback on how this antenna works in a mountainous region 40 miles from transmitters?

    A:

I'm using this antenna in a remote, hilly, wooded area 49 miles from the main towers where they say reception is impossible. We would have been happy to get one or two stations.

    Q:

Is a pre amplifier required with this antenna?

    A:

We live 28 miles E/SE from Atlanta Ga. and have 25 channels with all the sub- channels along with them.

    Q:

Will I have to adjust the angle on the antenna if I want to pick up channels from around me, or is it a multi-directional antenna?

    A:

I was taught in electronic communications class that the appearance of this antenna, UHF has a reflector and VHF has a single dipole.

    Q:

Is it possible to mount two in an attic and one each facing NE and SE and combine signal?

    A:

I did it 60 miles away from the two "hubs" couple station that didn't have a signal.

    Q:

How does this unit work in an attic?

    A:

It works great in an attic, and I recently installed one in my lady friend's attic, and it picks up all of the local stations, as clear as a bell.
