  • What buyers say about Antennas Direct Clearstream 4V TV Antenna, 70+ Mile Range, UHF/Vhf, Multi-Directional

I put up a Winegard antenna on the roof of my old house, which worked well and had a build in pre-amplifier and FM trap.

There is no such thing as a color TV antenna. An antenna is designed to capture signals on a specific band or frequency.

If you have multiple TVs, do not run multiple cables from your antenna and instead connect your Homerun box to your home network.

The loop design was used for the rabbit ears sticks and the Bowtie, it was twice the length as a dipole, and it was a great match for the TVs.

If you use the correct coax for your TV signal, it will be able to be carried the distance it needs from the antenna to the television.

    Common Questions

    Q:

Is anyone able to give me feedback on how this antenna works in a mountainous region 40 miles from transmitters?

    A:

I'm using this antenna in a remote, hilly, wooded area 49 miles from the main towers where they say reception is impossible.

    Q:

Is a pre amplifier required with this antenna?

    A:

We live 28 miles E/SE from Atlanta Ga. and have 25 channels with all the sub- channels along with them.

    Q:

Will I have to adjust the angle on the antenna if I want to pick up channels from around me, or is it a multi-directional antenna?

    A:

It's a figure eight pattern for VHF and a 45 degree beam width for UHF based on what I was taught in electronic communications class.

    Q:

Is it possible to mount two in an attic and one each facing NE and SE and combine signal?

    A:

I did it 60 miles away from the two "hubs" couple station that didn't have a signal.

    Q:

How does this unit work in an attic?

    A:

It works great in an attic, and I recently installed one in my lady friend's attic, and it picks up all of the local stations, as clear as a bell.
