    I installed this in an attic in downtown Orlando, and it's possible to pickup TV stations from the coast with no problems at all.


    I used a titan high gain amplifier but didn't install the medium gain amplifier I have, and they now have one with a switch I might try at some point.


    I purchased this antenna because I thought it would be better than the so called "150 miles" range antenna and I have over 45 channels with it.


    I like it so much that I bought the Channel Master CM-488HD High VHF, UHF & HDTV over the air antenna and used Apple TV4 and the PSV app to watch it, as well as the Channel Master DVR+ subscription free over the air.


    I decided to try it out and it went up within 15 minutes, it is much smaller than the Winegard and is easier to install.

    A:

    The reception range of UHF and HD is listed as up to 80 miles in the product manual and user guide instructions available online at the manufacturer's website.

    Does it come with mounting brackets, or does it not?

    A:

    It comes with mounting brackets that looked like they were meant to be used with a pole, but I didn't use them as I have this inside my attic just propped up between rafters/joists.

    Do you have to point the antenna in the direction of the station with the rotor?
