This projector is very reasonable for what you get, since I didn't know how often we use it, but it is hi-def enough, so I'm happy with it.
I was happy to purchase it, it was a great price and works great for home movies outdoors, TV, video games, Light/projection seemed initially a little low, but gets the job done when tested real.
We only used it twice but we are really happy with it. The picture was great, the sound good, and we sat 12' away from the screen.
I found the projector to perform well for what I paid for, and I have few doubts that you will walk away with a very good impression and many nights of good use from this little projector.
I am not color blind, so I can't say much about the colors, but I can say that you see vibrant colors, there is some image configurability in the menus, and nobody had anything bad to say about the colors.
