What buyers say about American Lawn Mower Company 1204-14 14-Inch 4-Blade Push Reel Lawn Mower
The reel mower is easy to fit against the wall and it only takes up a small amount of space in the garage.
I had a push mower in the 90s that was pretty bad, so I had to try one again.
No protective equipment required, just a mower. I really liked mowing my garden area with this mower, and seeing a lovely cut and butterflies and frog still chilling in the space, without being cut up and whipped to death by a mower.
One day, I need to use some WD-40, but I just popped it back in, because the plastic end caps on the handles popped out.
I was surprised how light-weight and easy it was to push the mower, and it was a good aerobic workout, as it got my heart rate up and I didn't have a loud motor.
Is it made in America or China?
China, like almost all manufactured equipment in the US, has been made legal for companies to send all their labor over seas and not pay any taxes to make up for the drop in labor costs they benefit from.
Does it cut grass with tall weeds or would it jam?
If the grass is too tall you may need to rent a power mower the first time.
Since my last reel mower's aluminum handle snapped off, I'm leery of the T-handle. How does this one hold up?
If you are not mowing through grass so thick that it requires a lot of forward pressure from you, the handle seems pretty strong.
Does American make a grass catcher that is attached to the back?
I received an email from Amazon that said it had a grass catcher for the mower.
Is it possible to get the E rings attached to the handle?
I had to assemble the handle first and attach it to the mower, but I am happy with it.
