  • What buyers say about Greenworks 10 Amp 16 inch Corded Electric Lawn Mower

The longer the cord the lower the gauge so that you don't burn up the motor and I hope this is helpful to future potential buyers.

If you stop every couple of passes across the yard you will prevent the grass from sticking to the underside of the mower.

I wanted an old-fashioned reel mower but realized that they were best on level lawns and this electric mower is the perfect one for me.

I saved $100 by purchasing it on Amazon, and after using it I feel like I got the best mower and bang for the buck.

I need something to get the job done quickly, cheaply, and hassle-free so I can live in my apartment without having to worry about lawn care on top of my rent check.

    Common Questions

I charged it and it wouldn't start. Did I get a dud?

I searched for a corded mower and it was one of the first ones I looked for.

The extension cord is not connected to the main electrical system.

If you want to be safe and performance-wise, you should have a 16 gauge cord for 50 feet,4.2%, 5 volt drop, and a 12 gauge cord.

Does it pull it backwards instead of turning it?

I've lost part of a foot when I've pulled a mower backward, and you shouldn't have any kind of mower running when you're pulling it that way.

I was wondering how the mower would last if stored outside in my shed, how it would be affected by rain, snow, and cold. Will it start right up next spring?

I left my mower in a lean-to type shed and it did not age well, I suggest keeping in the most climate controlled space.

Does the mower come with a bag?

You can either remove the door on the back of the mower and attach the bag, or mulch it with grass clippings. I have not used the bag, but it does not look like it would hold a lot of grass clippings, so you might have to empty it often.
