What buyers say about Greenworks 21-Inch 13 Amp Corded Electric Lawn Mower 25112
I have been using this law mower for the past two years and I have to say that I am very happy with the quality of the product and the fact that I don't have to worry about carrying fuel cans in my car.
I wanted an electric mower with the option for mulch, and the reviews were good, the price was right, and it fit my criteria, so I chose this mower.
The commutator is dirty and it might be possible to remove the assembly and clean it with a toothbrush and electrical contact cleaner.
It weighs about as much as a typical 4hp gas mower, and costs about the same, and it has the same grass cutting power and ability.
I was hesitant about buying this mower since it had only one review at the time, but I am very happy that I did and it has done a great job of mowing about 1/3 of anacre of St Augustine grass every time.
Common Questions
Why is this one less expensive than the smaller, lower amplifier model?
That is a steal, this is the best electric mower I have ever used.
How much cable is used with the mower?
The extension cord is only supplied with a short pigtail. I believe the manufacturer recommends not using more than a 100 foot extension or you risk problems with the electric motor over time.
I want a corded power supply and a rear bagger, but I don't know if this is a corded mower and a mulching mower.
I love this mower, it's electric, has both mulching and rear bag options, and it's a snap to change mower height.
I have a 100' cord that is stamped in tiny letters as 15awg, but it doesn't say 10amp and 125 v on the tag. Will it work?
The limit from the instructions is 200 ft, so 100 ft is fine, and the voltage is not an issue if you don't plug the plug into a lowamp breaker.
Does the motor design include brushes that will wear?
The unit does not have a motor unit.
